This flat, overlooking the tracks of the Berliner Ringbahn was severely neglected and left to stand empty for almost a year.
It had an impossibly small bathroom and a corridor of a kitchen with no space to dine. We transformed the layout of this flat with the thought in mind that it would be a shared accommodation; two large living/bedrooms with equal qualities and access to the communal spaces. The residents would have both a generous, bright, private sphere, but also the option to share the entire layout fully.
The Circular motion through the rooms in the apartment is not unlike the train tracks it overlooks.
