The brief for this bathroom was to turn a 3,5 m2 space that is only 1,3 m wide feel spacious and bright, and to fit a washing machine in it. We decided to rotate the bathtub and bring it up towards the level of the window in order to utilise the deep sill for shower storage and be able to appreciate the view outside. The dark floor tiles climb the different levels of this room to give the small space a more grounded feel, as if it were carved from a block. The rest was to remain clean, compact and neutral, and most importantly provide maxmial storage space.
